For over a hundred years the Brunier family has been associated with this famous domaine and the stony vineyard of La Crau. While too many of today’s southern Rhône reds are heavy, plodding, alcohol-laced brutes, Vieux Télégraphe’s classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape delivers the bold juiciness we love in these wines with an elegance, freshness, and mineral spine that result in the only Châteauneuf offered at DIG. A beautiful bouquet of mixed summer berries, lavender, pepper and spices lead to cool fruit and mineral notes with a nice lift at the finish.
