ranato ("garnet") — yep, that’s the color —is made from Foradori's oldest vines, fermented in open oak vats and raised for 15 months in large neutral barrels. The aromas conjure dark plum and cherry fruits, cassis liqueur, and spice. The most “serious” of Elisabetta's reds, Granato is mouth coating but still has plenty of grip and age worthiness.
